Close your account

If you wish to close your account, please contact customer support to arrange this for you.

Upon account closure, unmatched bets will be canceled. Matched bets will stand. 

You can only have one account set up. If you would like to use Smarkets again, you will not be able to create a new account. You can get in touch with us so that we can reopen the account.

If you need a break from betting, we also offer Self Exclusion and Time Out options. Here you can find different tools to help you manage your gambling.

In case you wish to permanently delete your account, please also get in touch with customer support. For regulatory reasons we may not be able to immediately comply with the request, however at the time your request is made we will take the following actions:

  • We will block your account, making it inaccessible
  • Your personal information will be immediately removed from all marketing material and any data sets we use for automated marketing related decisions
  • To satisfy regulatory requirements in both gambling and finance industries, we will retain your user information for 6 years from the last activity on your account
  • We will delete your data 6 years following the last login to your account
