A time out allows you to take a short break from gambling, enabling you to block your account for one, seven, 31 or 42 days.

During this period you will be unable to bet or use the Smarkets site. At the end of your selected time out period your account will automatically be reopened.

Note: You will be unable to reverse the ‘time-out’ during the set period.

Setting a time-out on Smarkets

1. A time out can be set by logging into your Smarkets account and accessing the settings page.

2. From here, click on the 'Limits' header.

3. Scroll down the page until you see the time out section.

4. You can then select the duration you wish to take a break for.
