Dundalk Racing - Friday 20th March
Races in Focus
Kinch finally got his head in front for Johnny Levins last time out and it would be no surprise were he to follow up. Stablemate Tennessee Wildcat ran better than the bare result here a week ago, however preference is for Reverberation, who just faded in the final stages at Newcastle last time and can win back on home soil.
- Reverberation
- Kinch
- Tennessee Wildcat
This drop in trip wouldn’t be guaranteed to suit likely favourite Tio Esteban and - despite a tricky draw - the eye is drawn to the booking of Colin Keane for Followme Followyou. The former Champion Jockey has a 20% strike rate for trainer Jack Davison and the four-year-old kept on well for second last time out. Another ex-Mark Johnston inmate, Mithmaar, can fill the places.

- Mithmaar
- Tio Esteban
Gougane Barra has been knocking on the door, but taking into account his tendency to dwell in the stalls and a tough draw, is passed over for leading course trainer Mick Halford. His former stablemate Tonkinesse has been well backed the last two occasions for Joseph O’Brien but continues to disappoint and the yard likely has a better chance with Irradicate, dropping back in trip.
However this may fall into the hands of Keane once again aboard Muzbid, who gave the impression after winning here in January that this mark might not be insurmountable.

- Irradicate

Other Noteworthy Runners
Yuften will likely be a warm order in the 14.30 but it would be a real surprise to see him turned over in this field.
Juliet Rose only went down by a head last time and will be a short price to go one better in the 15.00. Don’t count out stablemate Presgrave, though, who was slowly away in the same race and could cause an upset if more streetwise this time.
Misty Sea is very interesting on handicap debut for John Feane in the 16.30 with some decent maiden form at Dundalk to draw upon. A competitive heat closes the card at 17.00. Briseuse De Coeur ran well over this trip at the beginning of the month and has each-way claims under Billy Lee.
